Today a cold front, associated with a low passing through northern Alberta, dropped about 5-7 cm of snow through out Calgary. Most of the snow fell along the Foothills from Nordegg in the north to Pincher Creek and Waterton Parks in the south. Some of these locations were expecting 10-25 cm of snow today and overnight Wednesday. Multiple snowfall warnings were issued through Environment Canada along the Foothills due to this front.
